The Payroll Associate is responsible for handling routine pay process transactions on behalf of assigned clients from time reporting loads through pay confirmation. Loads and reconciles AP interface and spreadsheet uploads. **PeopleSoft payroll experience is REQUIRED for consideration.**
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reviews and resolves basic payroll error messages.
Inputs all pay exceptions for full service customers.
Inputs all employee data changes to tax, deposit, and general deduction and garnishment pages; Runs audit reports to review pay input and process before authorizing pay completion.
Maintains a matrix of all service delivery for customers to insure pay tasks are completed as scheduled.
Runs Payroll disbursement interface for transmission to JPMC.
Under guidance of Payroll Operations Manager develops and maintains SOPs, inputs stop payment requests, researches check status, and requests ACH returns using JPMC on line banking.
Maintains void and return support and documents activity.
Responsible for verifying that all assigned customer payroll transactions are completed successfully.
Reviews post pay confirmation reports and maintains report folder for retention.
Updates tax liability spreadsheets with pay period tax outcomes.
Reconciles HR to AP interface to pay reports.
Prepares AP vouchers for pay liabilities not included in AP interface.
Handles reporting requirements for assigned customers.
Runs established queries.
Collects and maintains process metrics for group reporting.
Identifies process anomalies and process improvement opportunities.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
High School Graduate.
Three or more years as Payroll Operations associate working in PeopleSoft environment
Payroll input data responsibility
Knowledge of general payroll practices and policies
Experience working in a union and non union based environment

RESET MERCHANDISING SPECIALIST (Install Specialist)
The primary focus of this position will be to complete reset work throughout Lowes Home Improvement Warehouse Stores according to the accepted master reset schedule. This position is also responsible for ensuring that exceptional customer service is maintained within all Departments we service.
Applicants must be at least 18, have a mechanical aptitude, reliable transportation, valid driver's license and be proficient with various hand tools. Also necessary: basic reading, writing, mathematical skills (computer skills a plus); ability to interpret plan-o-grams; a strong customer service orientation; and able to handle repetitive motions with frequent lifting (up to 45lbs.), bending and stretching, and climbing up and down ladders.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Reset plan-o-grams as agreed to with Lowes
Have the ability to lead a team or perform reset work alone depending on the scope of the reset project
Report completion of reset work including pictures utilizing company provided PDA and camera equipment
Ensure product area is clean and well maintained, according to vendor specifications
Complete periodic surveys, and report the results of those surveys
Complete minor plan-o-gram changes, as required
Participate in Special Events, as needed
Work in new store openings and re-merchandising projects, as needed
Understand vendor-specific product knowledge, and communicate that knowledge to Lowes personnel when requested
Provide continuous courteous and professional customer service to vendors, Lowes personnel and Lowes customers
Position Requirements:
2-3 years experience working in retail/retail services environment
Must be able to lead multi-person team and report project completion
Reliable transportation and proof of valid drivers license and insurance a must
Complete set of tools (including cordless drill and mallet)
Ability to work flexible shifts and locations independently to meet deadlines and achieve results
High School diploma or equivalent
Must be computer literate
Working knowledge of a PDA (Personal Data Assistant Device)
Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
Must be able to lift/carry 45-50 pounds frequently
Must be able to push/pull 50-100 pounds
Must be able to lift items from the floor, to waist level and perform frequent reaching over the shoulders, as well as the ability to maneuver up and down ladders frequently
Territory: Position completes reset & merchandising work throughout MIDDLETOWN and the surrounding area.
Tools: Basic hand tools required (Cordless Drill, etc.).
Pay Rate: $12-$14.00 per hour; 24-40 hrs/wk
